to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Energy (ARPA-E). This position is full-time, exempt. Start date is immediate upon selection and public trust clearance processing as required.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and analyze performer-submitted invoices, and perform in-depth financial analysis of federal, cost share, and category amounts, including verifying invoice costs against Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) cost regulations.
Interface with programmatic Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) staff daily to resolve any outstanding invoice issues and assist the programmatic SETAs with any specific financial questions.
Draft monthly invoice status reports to assist with the task lead with gauging invoice backlog and approval status.
Assist with supporting any ad-hoc financial tasks, including reconciling performer invoices, accounts, or program outlays.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in financial or billing analysis.
Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Knowledge of financial or compliance auditing
Knowledge of OMB or FAR cost regulations
Experience with U.S. government or R&D health organizations.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with all team members.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite- PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Word.
