Summary: Fully Remote



Specialist - Financial Clearance performs all necessary front-end revenue cycle functions prior to service to ensure timely financial clearance for patient accounts.


Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent (GED) preferred. Associate degree preferred.

License/Certifications:

N/A

Experience:

Two (2) or more years of equivalent work experience in a hospital, medical office/clinic, or insurance company required

Additional Skills/Requirements Required:

Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations

Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:

Demonstrated knowledge of insurance eligibility, financial clearance and insurance authorization. Prior experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
