About the Role
Our client is seeking an
IT Product and Financial Analyst
to support financial planning, analysis, and budgeting activities for IT and security-related projects. The role combines financial expertise with a general understanding of technology, providing an opportunity to contribute to key initiatives while enhancing financial operations and decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed financial analysis and forecasting for IT and security initiatives.
Develop and maintain budget models to track funding requests, allocations, and expenditures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, procurement, and compliance to align financial strategies with project goals.
Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
Support procurement and vendor contract negotiations with financial insights and analysis.
Conduct life-cycle cost assessments and cost-benefit evaluations for new products, technologies, or system enhancements.
Prepare clear and concise financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
Recommend and implement improvements to budgeting, tracking, and reporting processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (4-year degree required).
Minimum 2 years of overall experience
in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting.
Proficiency in Excel or other financial modeling and reporting tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
General understanding of IT or information security concepts (training provided).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
