The Opportunity

Remote

The role of the Business FP&A team is to link strategic and operational plans through business partnering and real-time decision support and analysis.

Reporting the AVP, Business Financial Planning and Analysis, the Financial Analyst will work with the AVP and Vice President Finance, as an important finance partner to the business team supported to provide financial information, guidance, and analysis to help guide decisions. You will report and provide analysis on headcount, leading the coordination of the forecasting process and supporting main admin functions within Global Campus.

You\'ll Get To:

  • Be the lead on regular headcount reporting and coordinating the forecasting process for Global Campus
  • Work with the business to understand and improve resourcing needs
  • Manage and advise on all open/new position planning and understanding of projects while serving as the point person for HR
  • Provide HC reporting for the individual areas to give insight into new and replacement requisitions, financial impact of hiring decisions, etc.
  • Assist the main admin business teams with establishing annual operating budgets
  • Work with the Operations and the Data team to gain in-depth insight and understanding of current operations to deliver financial support to the department leaders
  • Develop and insightful historical financial reports, forecast financial performance within the fiscal year, and implement corrective action, if necessary
  • Develop measurements within the department and monitor progress
  • Provide financials, context, and commentary for quarterly financial reporting package
  • Engage with the business on new contracts and renewals by reviewing financial language, modeling projections, flagging and minimizing risk
  • Build business case for potential investments into special projects; track financial metrics vs. business plan
  • Present financial information to leadership
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support operations, programs, new opportunities and improving profitability. This may include scenario planning, cost benefit analyses, resource and capacity planning and long-term forecasting.
What we\'re Looking For:
  • Qualifications include: Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field required
  • 5+ years of Experience with business partnering, financial planning, budget and forecasting
  • Modeling skills and the ability to develop and interpret financial reports, analyze large amounts of data and recommend solutions
  • Organizational and management abilities.
  • \xc2\xb7 Must be committed to maintaining a culture of customer service, communication and business partnering with all members of the organization.
  • Experience with education, a team mentality, creativity, and a positive "can-do", "yes-and" spirit.
