Department Overview This is an exciting opportunity with high visibility in the Software Finance department. The mission of the Software Enterprise finance department is to deliver value to the Software Enterprise operations by providing financial support through timely, data-driven analysis, effective resource planning and management of business performance to help our business partners execute on their strategic and operational imperatives which contributes to a strong financial performance. As Motorola Solutions accelerates innovation through software, the finance organization has a unique opportunity to support the dynamic Software Enterprise business unit.



This is a fantastic opportunity to be a contributor in Motorola Solutions growing command center software business. Our company is seeking a Net Revenue Retention Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating our Net Revenue Retention dashboard for various subscription products in the Software Enterprise Portfolio . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, be skilled in data analysis and communication, and be able to work collaboratively across various departments.

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and update the Net Revenue Retention dashboard for various subscription products.
  • Perform regular and ad-hoc analysis on the dashboard to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Refine the methodologies used by the dashboard to improve its accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
  • Work with an outside consultant to upgrade and expand the dashboard\'s capabilities to include other products.
  • Collaborate with product and finance leads to ensure that key metrics are identified, tracked, and reported accurately.
  • Communicate findings from the dashboard analysis to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure a strong understanding of business performance and planning across the organization.
  • Utilize Alteryx and Power BI to collect, analyze, and visualize data.
Additional Skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with subscription products and B2B businesses is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, along with strong experience in utilizing Google Sheets, Excel, Tableau, and Smartview.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Alteryx and Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise way.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Comfortable working at a detailed level under time constraints and with multiple operating constituents.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of financial data into clear and concise financial summaries for executive consumption
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in finance, business administration, economics, or accounting with 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting.
