Job Summary
Oldcastle APG - South Region with revenues of circa $1 billion is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Finance team. The Financial Analyst will oversee the processes for budgeting, financial forecasting, business unit analytics and variance analysis. This position will report to the Regional Vice President - Finance, and work closely with the finance leads of the operating companies within Oldcastle APG South to help discover key business insights, inform, and influence critical financial and operational decisions. Our ideal candidate is a hands-on self-starter with solid skills in data analytics, business intelligence, budgeting, Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, and organizational communication. This will be a hybrid position located at our corporate office in Atlanta, GA
Job Responsibilities

• 
  Support the development of the operating company financial modeling processes (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Facilitate in the creation, management, and automation of key reports / dashboards and assist in the review of actual vs. forecast, budget, and prior year with appropriate stakeholders.
• Assist in the discovery of key financial insights, recommend and influence key decisions.
• Prepare, analyze, and report key financial and operating metrics. Identify trends, track progress, and make recommendations with regard to key financial metrics such as working capital, fixed overhead spend, etc.
• Facilitate detailed pricing analysis \xe2\x80\x93 tracking magnitude of pricing impact on revenues by company.
• Assist in the evaluation of key capital expenditure projects and their proposal and monitor performance.
• Provide key business intelligence with regard to item and customer profitability.
• Significant involvement in the rollout process of the new ERP Cloud and budgeting projects.
• Periodic review and analysis of divisional balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with and manage various ad hoc projects to support senior management and business.

Job Requirements

• 
  Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA / CPA a plus).
• 1+ years FP&A experience.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Working knowledge of Tableau (or like software) and exposure to Business Analytics environments.
• Ability to travel domestically on a regular basis.
• Highly personable, effective communicator who can craft positive, trust-based relationships across the company.
