Position Summary

The Controller oversees all financial and accounting activities for the organization, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance. This role leads the finance team, manages budgets and audits, reviews contracts, and provides strategic financial insight to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and reporting

Manage financials for multiple entities Lead and develop the finance team to maintain accuracy and efficiency

Review contracts, assist with financial negotiations, and support strategic decisions

Prepare monthly and annual financial statements

Maintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures

Analyze financial data and operational performance to identify areas for improvement

Partner with the CEO and executive team to establish financial priorities and support strategic planning

Oversee audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Strong leadership and management skills

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master's degree preferred

5-10 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management

* Experience managing multiple entities and healthcare accounting strongly desired
