The Global Reporting Governance & Oversight organization is charged with leading efforts to codify a Reporting Governance model to manage operational risks inherent in reporting processes and strengthen controls supporting regulatory and management reporting. The Global Regulatory Reporting Governance & Oversight organization is looking for a dynamic individual to help execute the target state model and establish governance standards for a robust control environment and adherence to risk appetite requirements as defined by the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. This individual will be responsible for defining and monitoring the commitments and timelines to support improved ratings of the control environment and risk appetite by Internal Audit and Finance Regulatory Reporting Risk Oversight, respectively.
The Financial Solutions Senior Lead Analyst will be a key enabler driving adherence to the target state control environment and risk appetite requirements. This individual must be able to collaborate and effectively communicate with colleagues across various levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Liaise with stakeholders to define and monitor the commitments supporting the control environment and risk appetite upgrades
Lead the collection, analysis, review, documentation and communication of evidence supporting the commitments to obtain control environment and risk appetite upgrades
Monitor execution of commitments through collaboration with appropriate owners
Create dashboards of deliverables underlying each commitment and metrics to measure and assess progress towards the control environment and risk appetite upgrades
Create Board and Senior-level presentations to provide updates on progress, status, risks, and challenges
Collaborate with Internal Audit and Finance Regulatory Reporting Risk Oversight on progress and expectations for the control environment and risk appetite upgrades
Assess firm-wide reporting and data initiatives and communicate any impact on the commitments or timelines
Design appropriate governance and oversight to monitor the commitments supporting the control environment and risk appetite upgrades
Manage and interact with cross functional teams including the Enterprise Data Office and other disciplines within Finance
Qualifications:
12+ years of experience working in the finance industry, experience in Finance, Reporting, or Governance is a plus
Excellent project management skills or experience managing transformation initiatives
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated ability to work effectively across a wide variety of people, functions, regions, and seniority to deliver results
High energy, self-starter with a flexible and pragmatic attitude and a desire to show continued progress
Ability to manage competing priorities, synthesize complex concepts and large quantities of information in a complex and dynamic environment
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or related field. Masters degree a plus
