Job Summary and Responsibilities:
The position will be responsible for the management and audit of marketing expense payments and oversee compliance for proper expenditures. The role will develop, manage and perform detailed marketing vendor and payment expense reconciliation and tracking, and execute audit and validation of proper supporting documentation for payments. The incumbent will also be responsible for leading the communication and training of policies and procedures to marketing project owners and leadership team, establishing and reporting marketing expense compliance KPIs, and leading the change initiatives for proper marketing expense payment process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Manage and perform validation and reconciliation of marketing expense payment activities working closely with marketing owners and related business management personnel
Develop and execute proper expense payment process and procedures to comply with company's policies and procedure
Oversee and deliver training and communications to marketing teams and provide relevant accounting and financial policy guidelines
Provide support for month-end closing as needed, and quarterly and ad-hoc audit activities
Work with cross functional teams and collaborate effectively to lead payment related process improvements and change management with both internal teams and external vendors
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and minimum 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered.
Experience in audit and reconciliations, accounting and monthly closing
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Proficient with Excel. SAP or other ERP system experience is plus.
