Location: This position is located at our offices near Plano, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth area). It will require on-site work (remote-flex) and is not fully remote.

Requirements:

  • This position reports to the CFO in support of Operations, Production, Supply chain and Sales Operations.
  • This position will lead the analysis and financial modeling of bill of materials, inventory costs, supply, and purchase commitments for quarterly and multi-year forecasts, as well as effective decision making of manufacturing volumes and timing.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the company in improving financial performance from the perspective of product costs, inventory, and supply management, including establishing a cost roadmap process.
  • Identify/support automation and transform legacy processes in support of business growth and product portfolio expansion.
  • Develop performance measures of major cost drivers, including financial impacts of new product roadmaps, partner, or other supply related agreements, providing insightful business information to improve our financial performance.
  • Partner with Controllership, FP&A and other team members for all required activities related to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s monthly and quarterly financial close processes and related earnings releases.
  • Drive other relevant ad hoc analysis of manufacturing or supply related data for executive communication of business insight.
  • Assist Controllership with data management hierarchy and systems implementation.
  • Other ad-hoc Finance and Operations tasks and analysis as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6-10 overall years of experience in finance, supporting manufacturing operations and/or business units.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (or equivalent experience). MBA and/or advanced Accounting or Finance a plus.
  • General understanding of procurement, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing and operational flows and processes. Solar industry experience a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel. Experience with database tools and/or visualization tools a plus.
  • Detailed orientated with the highest regard for accuracy and completeness.
  • Experience in transforming processes and systems, with the ability to influence across all levels of the company.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate and organize large datasets into business insights.
  • Ability to collaborate and train others in working to meet deadlines and collectively achieve objectives.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment, with its fast pace, shifting priorities and fluid nature.
