The Opportunity:



We're seeking a Finance/Desking Manager to join our Sales Leadership Team -- someone who's passionate about people, confident in deal structure, and motivated to drive both customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.

This is a pivotal leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves working with people, and enjoys the balance between financial precision and relationship building. You'll act as the "quarterback of the day", guiding the sales team, structuring deals, and ensuring every transaction is profitable, compliant, and customer-centered.

Key Responsibilities:



The Finance/Desking Manager is responsible for desking deals and structuring financing options for all retail transactions with accuracy, transparency, and professionalism. This role presents financial products and terms clearly to ensure customers fully understand their options and feel confident in their decisions. Working closely with Sales Consultants, the Finance/Desking Manager partners to close deals quickly and profitably while providing real-time coaching to elevate team performance and customer experience. The position also involves maintaining and expanding strong relationships with local banks, credit unions, and warranty vendors to ensure a seamless and competitive financing process.

Additionally, the Finance/Desking Manager ensures all deals are compliant, accurate, and funded within three business days, collaborating with dealership leadership to monitor profitability, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement. A key part of the role includes proactively seeking new lender and warranty partnerships that broaden customer options and contribute to the dealership's long-term success.

Team Development: Sales Consultants grow in skill, confidence, and professionalism under your leadership. Efficient Deal Flow: Deals are structured profitably and funded quickly and accurately. Customer Experience: A 4.9+ star client satisfaction rating driven by trust and clarity. Sales Growth: Back-end gross meets or exceeds monthly goals. Compliance: All paperwork and contracts are accurate and fully compliant.

Qualifications



Proven track record of leading and coaching a team of high performers. Experience as an F&I Manager, Desking Manager, or similar role in automotive retail. Strong knowledge of financing, lending, and compliance processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and coaching skills. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, EOS-driven, and fast-paced environment. Familiarity with DMS systems and lender portals preferred.
