Finance Manager
Job Description
Standard Motor Products, Independence, is recruiting for a Finance Manager. This position is responsible for managing the facility\xe2\x80\x99s financial matters, developing long-term strategies, and providing timely and accurate financial information. Oversees the preparation of the facility\xe2\x80\x99s budget. Reports to management on variances from the established budget and the reason for those variances. Successful candidate will interface with facility management on cost control measures, and implementation of cost reductions.
Reports to Facility Plant Manager for day-to-day supervision with dotted line responsibilities to Corporate Accounting on all financial matters.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting or related field
- 6+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in manufacturing cost environment
- Good written, organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet applications.
- Experience with JDE manufacturing systems helpful.
