Position Summary

Optimizing each stage of the building lifecycle with our in-house expertise, we connect to client's business strategy by delivering holistic solutions.
Southland is looking for a highly-motivated candidate for our Finance Management Training Program. The program duration is approximately 2 to 2.5 years and consists of a 12-month "foundation" phase with the Corporate Finance department in Garden Grove, CA and a 12 to 18 month rotation through one or more Division offices. As Southland continues to grow in size and scope, we have cultured an increasing commitment to fostering talent across our finance and business teams nationwide.
This rotation program aims to provide a thorough understanding of the entire business, enabling candidates to grow with our organization. Upon completion of the program, Southland will offer the management trainee a relocation package for the all transfers to Division offices. Candidate's ability and desire to relocate is essential to continued growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent
• Detail oriented, thorough, and organized
• Both independent contributor that demonstrates initiative as well as a team player that contributes to department goals and deadlines
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members and cross-functional department leaders.
• Self-motivated with high level of initiative and accountability

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For California, this ranges from $58,000.00-$66,000.00 yearly plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.
