Summary: Assist the Finance Department team members with a variety of accounting and administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable

• Assist with processing of invoice entries and other various AP duties.
• Provide backup assistance to accounts payable for weekly check runs and associated reporting tasks.

General

• Assist the CFO with administrative matters involving bonds and insurance; request insurance certificates from insurance advisors; prepare and submit insurance applications for builder's risk insurance and railroad protective insurance.
• Assist with force account accident insurance and at-fault claims for re-imbursement.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by Senior Accountant, Controller, or CFO.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 1-year related experience.
• Advanced math skills with the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations and analysis quickly and accurately.
• Good problem analysis and problem resolution skills.
• Outstanding time management and organization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team focused mindset to build strong working relationships.
• Strong investigation and follow-up skills; attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Viewpoint Vista.
