Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst will include:
Financial analysis, establishing performance management baselines, and forecasting activities to include variance analysis, trend identification, workforce planning drivers, risk and opportunities assessment and development of mitigation plans. Integrates information from multiple financial systems, processes and functions in order to consolidate the data forensics into actionable business solution recommendations. Timely and accurately consolidates financial results and monthly, quarterly and year end reporting to internal and external customers to include government contractual cost and schedule earned value management reporting. Develops and utilizes forward-looking data analytics, visualization and trend analysis to inform financial strategy and decision making. Develops and provides actionable recommendations to Control Account Managers (CAMs) and key stakeholders to make sound financial and operating decisions. Maintains applicable internal and external (FAR, CAS, SEC, US GAAP) policy, procedure, and controls for compliance to support internal process and external regulatory requirements. Provides subject matter expertise support to proposal development, basis of estimate and negotiations, as required.
Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education with 1+ years of experience
• Ability to work in Microsoft Office
• This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US citizen and able to maintain a Secret clearance

Desired skills

• 2+ years of related experience
• Prior experience supporting U.S. Government / DoD contracts
• Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) data and performance metrics
• Familiarity with EVM reporting tools and ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills; including formula writing, pivot tables, and Power Query
• Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build partnerships across functional teams
• Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
• Secret clearance
