Techmer PM is a leading materials design company and works in deep partnership with plastics processors, OEMs, and designers to solve some of their most difficult business, manufacturing, and sustainability challenges. For more than 30 years, we have helped consumer and industrial product manufacturers achieve the finest color, texture, appearance, and functional enhancements for a variety of product applications. We are currently seeking a Film Line Technician for our Clinton, Tennessee facility. First shift is 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will ensure all products/materials meet quality requirements through quality control testing, and sample compounding; ensure formulas are maintained; and that all company resources are utilized efficiently. Responsibilities include:

• Applications Lab Projects

• Quality Control Projects

• Safety and Housekeeping Participation

• Culture Participation

• Other duties may be assigned

• High school diploma or GED

• Preferred 5 or more years plastics, lab or plant experience

• Minimum of 2 years processing experience

• Preferred familiarity with twin screws extruders, injection molders, multi-layer film lines, sheet lines and blow molder

• Must have above average or better color perception based on Munsell Color Vision test.

• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Must be able to calculate fractions and percentages and other arithmetic operations
