Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Garage Door installation with great knowledge of project materials and procedures. High School Diploma is required. OSHA Basic, Apprentice Program, Journeyman as appropriate. English is required.

Duties

Perform fiber splicing and cabling installations for telecommunication systems. Install and configure network equipment, including Cisco routers and Ethernet connections. Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telephony and low voltage systems. Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as an ohmmeter to ensure proper installation and functionality of systems. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve customer satisfaction. Provide technical support and training to clients as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools. Familiar with Project materials, practices and procedures. Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple tasks effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
