Aerospace Complex
. You will be responsible for the setup, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of
end-user devices
, ensuring secure, seamless IT operations for mission-critical personnel and systems.
This role requires a
technically proficient and customer-focused individual
who can proactively manage sensitive IT assets, deliver timely issue resolution, and support IT operations that align with high-level Department of the Air Force (DAF) objectives. Occasional after-hours support may be required to resolve critical issues and maintain mission continuity.
Key Responsibilities
#
Dedicated IT Support for Sensitive Systems
Provide on-site and remote support for devices, including
setup, installation, connectivity, configuration, troubleshooting, and resolution
.
Ensure ongoing functionality and secure access to essential systems, including
DAF networks, internet, shared drives, and printers
.
Respond to IT issues IAW
Service Level Objectives ,
ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Deliver after-hours support as coordinated to address critical issues outside of standard business hours.

Proactive DeviceSystem Management
Manage IT inventory for unit-specific devices including
desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, monitors, printers, and projectors
.
Monitor and maintain device performance, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with security protocols.
Coordinate with
CG: SYD 88/831
to align support efforts with broader mission and cybersecurity requirements.
Document system configurations, access control, and maintenance records for tracking and audit readiness.

CollaborationCommunication
Serve as a liaison between
unit leadership, government stakeholders, and Field Services leadership
to facilitate smooth IT operations.
Maintain transparent, thorough documentation of IT support tasks, issue resolution steps, and service performance metrics.
Participate in technical meetings and support planning sessions to anticipate and address future IT requirements.
QualificationsRequired Experience
5+ years
of experience in desktop support, field services, or system administration.
Experience managing and supporting
IT infrastructure
.
Proficiency in
Windows OS, hardware/software troubleshooting
, and
network/peripheral connectivity
.
Strong understanding of
DoD security policies, IT compliance requirements
, and secure system operations.
Exceptional
problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
, especially under pressure.
Professionalism suited for working alongside senior leadership and handling sensitive systems.
CompTIA Security+
or equivalent required.
Certifications (Preferred)
ITIL Foundation
Microsoft or Apple Certifications
Security Clearance
Secret or TS-SCI (Top Secret - Sensitive Compartmented Information) clearance required depending location on the team.
