Job Description
Our client, an Automation and Engineering firm, is seeking a Field Technician Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise, the willingness to travel, and strong client-facing abilities.
Job Title: Field Technician Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to determine needs and explain complex issues
- Participates in the creation of E&I design and electrical power distribution design deliverables
- Manage field activities and implement engineering designs, offering technical support, and troubleshooting on-site issues.
- Overseeing equipment testing, maintenance, installation, and planning.
- B.S. Engineering plus 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 applicable work experience, or combination of education and relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency with electrical and power systems and equipment, to include ability to read and understand electrical designs and schematics
- Detailed understanding of panel and field wiring diagrams and schematics
