Requirements:
Education: High school or equivalent
Experience: At least 3 years in construction environment, preferably TILE AND WOOD INSTALLATION related, with hands-on experience tools
Knowledge:
Must be knowledgeable of all aspects of TCNA GUIDELINES, INSTALLATION METHODS AND PROCEDURES
Must understand budgeting and cost evaluation, personnel performance evaluation methods, goal setting, and human behavior characteristics.
Bilingual in English and Spanish very desirable.

Oversee all production of fabrication shop.
Review material costs, overhead, equipment care & maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Directly responsible for quality of work and schedule for all managed personnel.
b) Directly responsible for adherence of managed personnel to Company safety policies and procedures.
c) Know the status of every jobsite.
d) Submit list of completed jobs to Accounts Receivable, showing status and estimated completion date of ALL ongoing jobs. Twice weekly at meetings, every Monday and Thursday.
e) Submit monthly tract house closing schedules to Scheduling department. Due at first meeting of new month.
f) Monitor labor budgets per task/phase.
g) Conduct regular Installer meetings: ET agenda and address current problems.
h) Develop and maintain rapport with each Builder Superintendent and/or Homeowner.
i) Conduct Start Meetings with builders / Homeowners at the start of every NEW PROJECT.
j) Confirm scheduled material and equipment orders with purchasing/delivery department on a daily basis.
k) Document project delays
l) Complete QA reports regarding progress of work, job readiness, and delays
m) Identify a monthly "hot spot" and communicate it to the QA Manager.
n) Maintain open communication with the Estimating and A/R Departments for project discrepancies and/or project modifications.
o) Estimating projects.
p) Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Basis of Performance Appraisal:
Complete 95% of assigned jobs within budget parameters
Manage installation costs of all jobs to within +1% of budget
Ensure 99% of all work tags submitted for payroll to be 100% complete and ready for billing at time of submittal. Signature and COD / COD status required for payment.
Ensure 95% of all assigned jobs are completed by original crew on original completion date. NO GO-BACKS!
Make personal contact with 90% of customers, including post-completion walk through with installer and customer addressing every potential problem or concern.
Maintain less than 5% "Go-Back" rate related to customer problems / complaints on all assigned jobs.
