Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Road Technician to

diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts

and other material handling equipment at customer locations. This is a field-based position requiring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, self-direction, and a customer-first mindset.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

Travel to customer sites to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on forklifts (electric, gas, diesel, LP) and related equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections Document all work performed using company systems (Tinnacity) Communicate clearly with customers and management team regarding repair status, issues found, and recommended actions Maintain a clean and organized service van with adequate inventory Follow safety protocols and company guidelines at all times Remain compliant with required training Provide feedback to the shop/management for parts needs and job status

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in forklift repair, heavy equipment, automotive or diesel tech work (forklift-specific training is a plus)

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and work in vary weather conditions Basic computer and/or tablet skills for work orders and communication EPA Certification or experience with LP systems is a plus but not required
