Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Field Service Technician to support a variety of clients by handling break/fix issues and project-based technical tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, customer-focused, and looking to grow their technical skill set in a hands-on IT support environment.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve break/fix issues, primarily focused on printers and related hardware.
Manage and complete project-based technical assignments for multiple clients.
Deliver excellent customer service through clear communication, professionalism, and timely resolution of issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and case updates.
Travel daily as required (0-150 miles depending on assignments).
Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
0-2 years of experience in technical support or field service.
Strong customer service and client-facing communication skills.
Hands-on break/fix printer experience is required.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues efficiently.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
CompTIA A+ certification (preferred but not required).
General IT troubleshooting experience (desktops, laptops, basic networking) is a plus.
Work Environment
Field-based support with remote coordination.
Travel within assigned radius; mileage varies by day.
Flexible schedule with occasional on-call duties.
