HOBART SALES & SERVICE (a division of LaJon Inc.)

is looking for a Field Service Technician. We provide service on all major brands of Commercial Cooking, Food Prep, Meat Room, Refrigeration equipment, Scales & Wrappers. We service Restaurants, Schools, Prisons, Supermarkets, Bakeries, Bars, Convenience Stores and Hospitals in a territory comprised of 24 counties located in North Central West Virginia, Southeastern Ohio and Garrett County Maryland.

We are seeking a customer service oriented technician with certification and strong experience in the following to help grow our business primarily in North Central West Virginia:

*Refrigeration certification and understanding of refrigeration systems and their servicing; including walk-ins, reach-ins and ice machines.

Electrical Comprehension
*Plumbing Comprehension: Steam, Gas & Water

*Familiar with operation and repair of commercial/industrial equipment with strong mechanical ability.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2-5 years experience
Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record
Efficient Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting ability
Customer service oriented
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Ability to pass a background check
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn new technology as well as learn repair and service procedures and specs
Able to lift 50-75 lbs.
Ability to climb ladder
Extensive driving - 5-6 Hours per day possibly
Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling. Exposure to heat, cold and noise.
