The team at Coastline is hiring a

Field Service Technician

at their North Las Vegas, NV branch and look to find an enthusiastic candidate to round out the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostics and Repairs:

Perform complex on-site diagnostics and repairs on Wirtgen and John Deere construction equipment.

Mentorship:

Mentor Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.

Customer Support:

Conduct or support customer clinics.

Documentation:

Ensure complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs, and timely submission of information.

Training:

Participate in Service Training programs for skill and knowledge development.

Equipment Maintenance:

Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Product Knowledge:

Stay updated on John Deere and competitive products.

Required Qualifications:

Education: High

School Diploma, or equivalent.

Experience:

5+ years of experience performing service repairs on heavy equipment.

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with Service Advisor and basic computer functions

.

Soft Skills:

Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.

Industry Knowledge:

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of Wirtgen or construction equipment.

Mechanical Background:

Ability to perform complex repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following technical manual procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications:

Advanced or Master Service Technician certification.

License:

Forklift License.

Physical Requirements

Driving:

Must be able to drive and travel in a vehicle. For the purposes of driving, must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Physical Conditions:

Must be able to lift 75 pounds.

Salary: $35.00-$46.00 per hour
