About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on

Junior Field Service Technician

to join our team. This role is perfect for someone early in their IT or technical career who enjoys hardware work, problem-solving, and learning new systems. We will train the right person.

You will install, support, and troubleshoot

ATMs, kiosks, Windows PCs, and related hardware/software

at casino and retail locations. When not traveling for installations, you will provide remote/on-call support, assist with testing in the lab, and complete basic warehouse or office tasks.

ResponsibilitiesHardware & Installation

Perform on-site installs of ATM and kiosk systems Check and test ATM hardware (cash dispenser, card reader, printers, sensors) Image Windows PCs and configure kiosk/ATM software Update XML, config files, and customer configuration settings Perform FLM-level troubleshooting (first-line maintenance)

Support & Troubleshooting

Remote/phone support for customer issues Work with NCR techs for escalated hardware repairs Diagnose cabling, network, power, and peripheral issues Test devices in lab environment before deployment

Customer Interaction

Train customer staff on kiosk/ATM functionality Provide go-live support during installs or upgrades Document work, log tickets, and communicate clearly with customers

Travel

6-12 trips per year for installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting Manage own travel arrangements; expenses reimbursed

Required Skills

Basic PC hardware knowledge Comfort with Windows OS, imaging, and configuration Ability to read/edit config/XML files (we will train) Excellent attitude, strong work ethic, eagerness to learn Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred (Nice to Have)

A+ certification Experience in field service, low-voltage, or help desk Experience with ATMs, kiosks, POS, or similar systems Previous work in casinos or retail environments
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
