Job Description

Cal Supply Company is looking for a full-time, experienced air compressor Field Service Technician. This is an in-field service position. To apply, you must be a highly motivated self-starter who enjoys a hands-on field-based work environment.

Responsibilities include:

Performing preventative maintenance service, repairs, installations and troubleshooting of air compressors and related equipment such as compressed air dryers, filtration, oil water separators, vacuum pumps, etc.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of compressed air systems and/or accessories both during normal working hours and after-hours or weekends as necessary (not often).
Read and interpret operational manuals, electrical schematics, general compressed air equipment literature, and work orders to perform required maintenance and/or repairs.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Hand in accurate paperwork in a timely fashion
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report them and any other unusual situations to the service manager in a timely manner.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly show work areas, comply vehicles and job site work areas.
Refrigeration, electrical and plumbing experience is a plus.
Qualifications:

High school educations or equivalent (GED)
Mechanical, electrical and plumbing ability
Ability to interpret schematics and operational manuals for practical application on repair and maintenance tasks.
Position requires extended periods of standing, extended periods of sitting while driving, as well as bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, kneeling, squatting and use of hands.
Motor vehicle record must be in good standing
May be required to tow a trailer or portable air compressor using company vehicle.
Salary: Commensurate with Experience
