Description

Kanawha Scales and Systems family is looking for the following position available at our Columbus, OH- Field Service Technician

Full-time

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 am \xe2\x80\x93 4:30 pm
• 40 hours/week
• OT/DT when available or needed
• : Installation, repair and calibration of scales and related weighing equipment.
• Below are just some examples of scale equipment types and industries that use them:
• Truck Scales
• Truck Stops
• Grain Mills
• Sand and Gravel Pits
• Scrap-Recycling Centers
• Floor Scales / Pallet Scales / Counting Scales
• Distribution Centers
• Manufacturing Centers/Businesses
• Warehousing Centers
• Scrap-Recycling Centers
• Retail Scales
• Deli\'s
• Grocery Stores
• Medical Scales
• Doctor Offices
• Pharmacies
• Manufacturing Scales
• Car and Motorcycle Part Fabrication
• Glassware Manufacturing \xe2\x80\x93 Drinking Glasses, Plates, Bottles, Light Bulbs, etc.
• Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
• Food Processing Scales
• Chocolate Candy Production
• Condiment Blending
• Commercial Bakeries

Requirements

Qualified candidates must have the following:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic hand tools
• Ability to lift weight of up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to learn new skills

Other skills or certifications not required for hire but valued such as:

• AC/DC Arc Welding
• Mig Welding
• Oxy/Acy Torch Cutting
• OSHA 10-hour Training
• MSHA Training
• Class B (or A) Commercial Driver License
