Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer Include:
Install, maintain, and repair automated industrial manufacturing equipment at customer sites, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, etc.
Provide excellent technical support and customer training by phone or on-site
Help to improve performance of manufacturing processes and/or equipment
Salary Range and Other Benefits for the Field Service Engineer Include
: $50,000 - $120,000, depending on years of direct experience

Qualifications of the Field Service Engineer Include:
Be accustomed to a field service work style, traveling daily to local customer sites, occasional travel to regional customer sites, managing your own time and workload
A strong desire to work in a customer service-oriented role, caring for customers who are in crucial factory production shut-down status, with high importance on building and maintaining relationships
Experience in a similar role installing, troubleshooting, and testing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, being able to interpret technical drawings, user-manuals and schematics
Prior experience with a systems integrator is a plus
Education Requirements for the Field Service Engineer Include:
Associates degree or higher in engineering i.e. mechanical, electrical, computer engineering or related field, or technical vocational training certificates and/or equivalent experience
