Schedule:




First shift, full-time hours. Specific work hours will be established through discussions with your supervisor.

Job Summary:



As a Field HR Specialist, you will be the cornerstone of HR support for multiple center locations, bridging the gap between corporate HR initiatives and on-site implementation. Your role is crucial in fostering a positive, inclusive work environment while ensuring HR practices align with our business goals.


Duties/Responsibilities:



HR Support and Employee Relations:

Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned locations, addressing employee and manager inquiries expeditiously Monitor HR KPIs and implement approved strategies to enhance recognition, retention, and other people-related initiatives Provide comprehensive HR support, including guidance on total rewards, talent management, performance, and conflict resolution Proactively identify and address employee concerns, partnering with the Sr. Employee Relations Specialist on investigations when necessary
Talent Acquisition:

Serve as primary recruiter for assigned centers, working with Recruiting and HR as needed to fill open positions and create talent pipelines in the communities we serve. By location and position, research, build and maintain database of sourcing contacts, job boards, job fairs, community, and school partners etc. Partner to facilitate new employee orientations and support new leader HR training. Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager, HR leadership, peers and Marketing Department to create recruitment marketing strategies specific to assigned locations.
Compliance and Policy Implementation:

Collaborate with Corporate HR to ensure compliance with employment laws and timely completion of required training Facilitate the implementation of corporate HR programs and initiatives at assigned locations Ensure accurate and timely submission of all HR documentation
Culture and Engagement:

Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives Organize and support special events such as benefits enrollment and employee recognition programs Represent the field perspective in HR team meetings to enhance the overall employee experience Foster a culture where employees can thrive, emphasizing safety, respect, and inclusivity

Required Skills/Abilities:



Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience working with HRIS and ATS is required. Must be able to deal tactfully and patiently with personnel, participants, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public. Ability to organize work and follow through on assigned tasks. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and networking skills.

Education and Experience:



Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years HR field operations and/or employee relations experience. Familiarity with office etiquette, procedures, and MS Office software. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to support centers. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. One year of experience working with the frail or elderly population.

Physical Requirements:



Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access various departments of a given location. May include occasional overnight travel for in-service training programs, temporary coverage for another Center, etc. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle.
