The Field Engineer II is responsible for providing support for the Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS) project.
The salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,00/year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides day-to-day CLS for the ITAS/Saber System by providing total life-cycle support for supported items.
Performs depot level repairs and Supply Support Activities for failed LRUs / SRUs in support of US Army units.
Maintains and manages forward deployed depot spares providing one-for-one replacement of failed LRUs / SRUs.
Provides ITAS/Saber System technical support
Acts as a direct interface with using units and support activities
Deploys to locations world-wide in support of using units conducting contingency operations, combat operations and exercises.
Plans, schedules, and conducts CLS administrative tasks as necessary to provide day-to-day operations of the FRA.
Provides guidance and training to the customer in establishing maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques as well as OJT for technicians
Analyzes equipment failures to determine cause and recommended corrective action in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operation, devise and implement preventive maintenance programs, keep maintenance records on equipment and participate in the installation planning phase.
Supports CCWS/AAS events to include fieldings, rework, resets, equipment recovery, testing, upgrades, modifications and other directed events.
Provides units a single point of contact for all Saber/ITAS issues
Issues, manages, and recovers Deployed Spares Kits (DSKs).
Conducts quarterly inspections of Army National Guard Units.
Enforces compliance with service maintenance management and supply processes and regulations
Maintains maintenance records to include Maintenance actions, inventory, configuration and visibility.
Submits Weekly, monthly and trip reports
Gathers and reports information on unit exercises and deployments to facilitate support.
Gathers information from users for possible product improvements
Contacts assigned units weekly to maintain customer relations and provide crosstalk to each other on what the unit is projected to do in the future (e.g. shoot, deployment, inspection).
Contacts AC 3rd and 4th level maintenance daily to facilitate quick repair of systems and resolution of any possible issues
Performs all supply chain functions including shipping and receiving, hazardous material paperwork, inventory management and distribution.
Maintains FRA to include all necessary inspections and certifications
Maintains visibility of deadlined systems and update status to Field Operations Manager weekly.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field or experience may be substituted on a 1:1 basis
Minimum 3 years working in an operational and maintenance professional environment of the same or similar equipment.
Must be familiar/knowledgeable with the MITAS and ITAS systems
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
Must have a valid passport and be able to travel CONUS/OCONUS as required. May be required to deploy with military unit and must pass the "Fit for Deployability" physical exam.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior military experience is preferred.

Must be able to lift a maximum of 20 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Speak, read, and write in the English language. Vision will be 20-20 with correction as necessary, no color blindness. Ability to speak clearly and hear. Perform generic office computer applications (i.e., word processing, spreadsheets, and databases). Typically will have full dexterity of limbs to feel, reach, sit, kneel, stand.

Work Environment will include office and field work to include deployment to CONUS/OCONUS locations.

40 hours per week/May be required to occasionally work greater than 40 hours/week.
