Field Care Assistant / Field Care Supervisor

that combines both field and in-office responsibilities, with most time spent

out in the field

supporting clients and caregivers across the

Greater Lehigh Valley

, including Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and surrounding areas.

What You'll Do



Conduct in-home visits following FirstLight's 7-Step Process to ensure smooth care starts and to review and update care plans as needed Support and mentor caregivers through field observation, coaching, and quality checks, reinforcing compassionate care practices and consistency of service Document all client visits, caregiver observations, and follow-ups accurately, and communicate daily with the Care Coordinator and Care Coordination Associate Participate in caregiver orientations and hands-on training to strengthen caregiver skills and confidence Fill short shifts when coverage gaps arise (estimated 4-12 hours per week, varies based on needs) Answer client inquiry calls and complete follow-up as assigned (stipend provided for designated after-hours or weekend coverage weeks) Participate in caregiver recruitment and engagement activities Perform in-home assessments for new clients if trained and authorized to do so

Qualifications



Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience (CNA, HHA, or PCA preferred) Prior experience mentoring, training, or supporting caregivers preferred Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance Ability to travel throughout the

Greater Lehigh Valley

(Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Northampton, and nearby communities) Basic computer or mobile app skills for documentation and communication

Compensation and Benefits



Pay:

$20-$21 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement Stipend for assigned after-hours lead coverage

Work Schedule



Approximately

35 hours per week

, depending on agency and client needs Some evening or weekend hours may be required for client visits or coverage This role is

under agency policy; full-time status may be offered if regularly scheduled at 40 hours per week
