Job Summary

Seeking an

experienced

& skilled Splicer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems & low voltage applications, with the ability to work in various environments, including elevated positions & in all weather conditions.

Duties

Perform splicing, testing, & repair of fiber optic to ensure optimal connectivity. Read & interpret network installation blueprints & splice schedules Build & maintain network infrastructure, including WAN systems. Perform end-to-end fiber tests with OTDRs, power meters, & light sources. Conduct field service tasks which may involve climbing ladders or poles to access equipment. Utilize hand tools & electrical equipment safely & efficiently. Troubleshoot & resolve issues related to network connectivity. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.

Experience

Proven experience in splicing or related fields is required. Familiarity with telephone systems & low voltage wiring is advantageous. Experience working with network infrastructure & WAN technologies. Ability to operate bucket trucks & other elevated work platforms safely. Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail are essential.3
Valid driver's license required and must be an insurable driver. No DUIs/OWIs within the previous 5 years.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
