Conduct FTTH installations and drop work.

Responsibilities

Install and configure fiber equipment, including routers and cabling. Perform fiber splicing installations as required. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fiber connectivity. Utilize hand tools and electrical testing equipment, such as an meter, to ensure proper installation and functionality. Conduct routine maintenance checks on telecommunications systems. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns effectively. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.

Requirements

1 year experience is a requirement!

Valid Drivers License Pass Background check Multi Tasker, Problem Solver, Good with People HARD WORKER RESPONSIBLE

Must have a truck with ladder, splicer, and all tools!

Work outdoors in all weather Fiber I&R Experience

Must use personal truck, SUV or van with a 28 ft. ladder/rack and equipment

Must have valid Driver's License, registration, & auto insurance

Must have necessary Insurances

Complete work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with industry standards

Have schedule flexibility to meet constantly changing customer demands

Exceptional communication & customer service skills

Cannot be afraid of heights and must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors

Must possess basic computer skills

Preferred:

Proven experience as a service technician in the telecommunications field is preferred. Knowledge of telecommunication systems, including cabling and fiber optics. Ability to work with low voltage electrical systems safely and effectively. Proficient in using hand tools and electrical testing devices. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if necessary.
