What you will be doing: Skagway Ferry Terminal Agent Position: Do you have customer service experience and enjoy being outside? The Skagway Ferry Terminal is Hiring! The Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Alaska Marine Highway System is recruiting for a Full-Time Seasonal Ferry Terminal Agent 1 for the Skagway Ferry Terminal. Working with the Terminal Manager and other terminal agents, the primary duties are vessel support and customer service oriented. Including tying and untying vessels, operating the hydraulic ramp, using a computerized reservation system, printing tickets for passengers, and staging vehicles for loading. Minor maintenance and cleaning duties around the Ferry Terminal.

The working environment you can expect:
This position is a full-time, seasonal position located at the Skagway Ferry Terminal, Mile Zero Klondike HWY, Skagway, Alaska, 99840. In this position, you must be able and willing to work in any/all weather conditions. You must be able to lift/pull mooring lines that can weigh up to 75 lbs. over long distances on wet/slippery surfaces. Applicants must be willing to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Applicant must be able to work split shifts and change work schedule with little or no notice.
