Hercules Fence

is a premier fence and perimeter security company in the DC/VA/MD area. We excel in commercial and high-security work at some of the most prestigious locations in the United States. Hercules is seeking qualified Field Crew / Fence Installer Labor members at our Ashland, VA location.

Must

be able to pass a background check for access to government work sites.



Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Fence Installer responsibilities include:

Installing fences per specific job requirements Performing daily job requirements as assigned Operating necessary equipment as required Securing proper loading of necessary equipment and materials for the day's job assignment, and upon completion of the workday Inspecting and testing for safe equipment operation daily Performing daily vehicle inspection Inspecting work area for potential hazards upon arrival to worksite Making sure job sites are free of debris and materials

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Prefer at least one year of experience in commercial or residential fence installation High School Education or GED preferred Experience with construction equipment operation and maintenance preferred Ability to take direction and follow Foreman and Superintendent directives Good communication skills and problem-solving ability Working knowledge of safety procedures and protocols Team player Positive and respectful attitude Bilingual is helpful

Required:

Reliable transportation Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:


Safe lifting technique and ability to lift at least 50 pounds Ability to stand, bend, or lift for at least eight hours
