Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on

to join our team. This role involves operating feed mill machinery, mixing feed, maintaining equipment, and keeping the mill running smoothly and safely. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, has light mechanical knowledge, and can troubleshoot and repair equipment when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate feed mill machinery safely and efficiently, including mixers, conveyors, and forklifts. Mix, weigh, and process ingredients according to production requirements. Perform light mechanical tasks: take equipment apart, troubleshoot issues, and make repairs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe mill and shop environment. Assist in unloading trucks and handling deliveries. Support feed production at all stages, including loading, unloading, and moving products. Conduct routine maintenance on trucks, trailers, and mill equipment. Inspect trailers to meet biosecurity standards and maintain accurate maintenance records. Assist with inventory management, ordering, and tracking of mineral products. Provide support to customers and team members as needed. Perform additional duties assigned by management to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license required. Hands-on mechanical skills; ability to troubleshoot, disassemble, and repair equipment. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and problem-solve under pressure. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Comfortable working at heights and in various positions (standing, climbing, bending).

Able to tolerate dusty, noisy, and odorous environments.
