Description:

Sandbox Logistics Inc., a FedEx Ground Independent Service Provider, is seeking dependable, safety-first Pickup & Delivery (P&D) Drivers to join our Tupelo team. As a P&D Driver, you will deliver and pick up packages from local businesses and residences using company-provided FedEx-branded vehicles.

Position Responsibilities:

Safely operate a FedEx Ground-branded delivery vehicle (step van, box truck, or similar)

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle daily
Load, deliver, and pick up packages along designated routes
Scan and log all packages using a provided scanner
Interact professionally with customers while ensuring all deliveries meet FedEx Ground's service standards
Follow DOT, company, and terminal safety protocols at all times
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance needs

Minimum Requirements:

12 months of verifiable driving experience in the past 3 years OR 5 years in the past 10 years (box truck, step van, or similar vehicle)

Valid Driver's License (CDL NOT required)
Must be 21 years or older
Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years)
Ability to lift up to 150 lbs with a dolly or team assistance
Reliable, punctual, and customer service-focused

Schedule:

Monday-Saturday (6-day work week)

Weekend availability required during peak seasons
Start time: 7:30 AM until route completion
