FedEx Contractor, McLaughlin Logistics Inc, is now hiring Full and Part-Time FedEx Delivery Drivers in the Newton, NC area. Drivers will be operating out of the Newton FedEx Ground terminal at 1936 Amity St, Newton, NC 28658 and will be making deliveries to local residential and commercial pick-up and delivery routes in Newton, Hickory, Hildebran, Connelly Springs, Valdese, Morganton, and Nebo.

Our FedEx Ground company is looking for people with experience as a Local Driver, Medical Courier, Route Driver, Truck Driver, Non CDL Driver, Pick Up Driver, Delivery Driver - and if you have driven for other FedEx contractor companies that is a plus. This is also a great position for those working in the Landscape industry and need work during winter months.

Pay & Benefits:

Starting Pay: $15 per hour at 50 hours per week (10 hours OT) for under 10k class vehicles. $800 per week salary for over 10k class vehicles Overtime pay 5-6 Days Per Week (Availability on SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS required) 7:30am - route completion completion Weekly Paycheck - Direct Deposit on Thursdays Eligible for benefits, including medical, vision, dental, accident and life insurance PTO Holiday Pay 401K No mountain routes Paid Training GroundCloud route optimization and GPS on iPads Drivers will operate the newest fleet of vehicles in our area

FedEx Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

Arrive at terminal located in Newton, NC to pick up vehicle and packages Loading and Unloading packages from truck Delivering and/or picking up packages at destinations Scanning and Logging Packages Safety, integrity, service, and attendance are TOP priorities!

FedEx Delivery Driver Qualifications:

Good Motor Vehicle Record Applicants must be 21 years of age or older 1 Year of Driving Experience for a job - this includes DoorDash, Uber, Lyft, etc. Must be able to pass a Drug Test (includes test for cannabis, Delta 8, certain CBDs, etc.) Must be able to pass a DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer!) Must be willing to submit to a background check Physically able to handle packages up to 150 lbs.
