Job Overview

A FedEx AVP Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages to residential customers while representing the FedEx brand with professionalism. The driver ensures timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety. This position involves operating a Personal 4WD vehicle, handling packages of various sizes, and managing daily delivery routes. Gateway will pay for your personal car insurance and pay for your gas!!!!

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a FedEx vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies. Load, unload, and handle packages with care to prevent damage. Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules using GPS and route optimization tools. Deliver and pick up packages from homes and businesses in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Accurately complete delivery logs, manifests, and other required documentation. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues. Adhere to all safety and security standards set by FedEx.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift, carry, and handle packages up to 75 lbs. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Good communication and customer service abilities. Familiarity with handheld scanners or delivery apps preferred. Previous delivery or driving experience (preferred but not required). Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
