Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering packages to customers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining efficient route operations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, timely deliveries, and positive customer interactions. Prior delivery driver experience and familiarity with warehouse operations are highly valued. We service out of the New Castle terminal.

Duties:

Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver packages across assigned routes Load and unload packages using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Drive routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries Manage delivery documentation and obtain signatures when required Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Assist with warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, and moving packages as needed Maintain accurate delivery logs and route sheets to ensure timely deliveries

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be.able to pass a background screening, drug test, and DOT physical Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in warehouse logistics preferred Ability to operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle with manual transmission Experience with route driving, heavy lifting, and moving packages Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local streets and routes Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
