We are seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Poolside Houseman to join our team. This role is essential in creating an exceptional poolside dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will ensure the pool area is impeccably prepared for service, maintain inventory levels, and provide seamless support to our food and beverage operations in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and prepare the pool area for daily service, including arranging loungers, umbrellas, and furniture Conduct daily inventory checks of poolside supplies, equipment, and amenities Replenish stock and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adequate inventory levels Perform food running duties between kitchen and poolside service areas Assist service staff with the setup and breakdown of poolside dining areas Maintain cleanliness and organization of the poolside work areas and storage spaces Adjust umbrellas and shade structures throughout the day to enhance guest comfort Respond promptly to requests from poolside guests and service team members Ensure all health and safety standards are maintained in the pool area Assist with special event setups and private poolside functions as required Monitor and maintain poolside equipment and report any maintenance needs Support the Food & Beverage team during peak service periods

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience as a houseman, room attendant, or similar role in a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment Food and beverage experience preferred Strong physical fitness and manual handling ability (able to lift and move furniture, equipment, and supplies) Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in an outdoor environment and various weather conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards Team player with a proactive and positive attitude Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays * Professional presentation and demeanor at all times
