JOB PURPOSE



The Service Supervisor at The Chloe supports the day?to?day success of all front?of?house food & beverage operations, ensuring warm, inspired, and efficient service across the restaurant, bar, lounge, pool, and all guest?facing spaces. This role embodies our hospitality values, supports the team on the floor, and maintains consistent service standards while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

The Service Supervisor leads through presence, connection, and care--ensuring every guest feels seen and every team member feels supported in delivering excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Operational Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate daily F&B service operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards. Maintain proper opening and closing procedures for all outlets. Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.

Team Leadership



Supervise, train, and motivate team members to deliver excellent hospitality. Conduct pre?shift meetings and communicate daily goals, updates, VIPs, and service priorities. Assist with staff scheduling and ensure adequate floor coverage during peak periods. Support team development through coaching, accountability, and performance feedback.

Guest Experience



Ensure guests receive warm, prompt, and attentive service throughout their visit. Anticipate guest needs and personalize service wherever possible. Resolve guest issues with urgency, care, and follow?through. Champion the standards of Excellence in 21st Century Southern Hospitality.

Financial & Administrative Duties



Ensure accurate cash handling, billing, and POS operations. Complete and submit shift reports, operational checklists, and incident documentation as required. Support accurate reservations management and table flow through OpenTable.

Foster a positive and supportive work environment. Lead by example in communication, professionalism, and hospitality. Ensure all team members have the tools, training, and information needed to succeed.

Revenue Awareness



Support upselling, menu knowledge, and service execution that drive revenue. Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance guest spending through great hospitality.

OUTCOMES



Create excellent, warm, engaging, and fun experiences for every guest. Lead an excellent, productive, and fulfilled team. Surpass The Chloe's sales goal of $7M in revenue for 2025. Achieve a 25% net profit margin in 2025. Maintain a 4.7/5 star rating or higher on all guest review platforms. Solidify The Chloe's status as one of the best boutique hotels and restaurants in New Orleans.

COMPENSATION



Base Hourly/Salary |

$20-23hr

Additional Benefits



2 Weeks Paid Vacation Accrued PTO at a rate of 2.15 hours per week worked with accrual starting on the date of hire. All accrued PTO must be used by August 31st of each calendar year. Any unused PTO will be forfeited and not carried over to the following year.*
