Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order taking and cash handling Manage cashier duties including processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to sanitation standards Assist in food safety practices by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining a hygienic environment Support team members in food preparation, food industry best practices, and quick service operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and sales calculations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and food handling practices Experience with kitchen tasks like food preparation or bussing is advantageous but not mandatory Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays
