Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, friendly service to enhance their dining experience Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials or new products effectively Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with food preparation, including assembling orders, packaging, and serving food in a timely manner Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring a tidy environment for guests Follow all sanitation procedures to uphold health standards in the kitchen and customer areas Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours Manage time efficiently to meet service goals while maintaining high-quality standards in food presentation and customer care

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn! Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and inventory management Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is highly desirable Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and cleaning Experience with food handling, bussing, or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory--training will be provided! Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
