Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Farrowing Technician to join our team in Hicksville.

SHIFT HOURS:

Monday through Friday 6:00am-3:00pm, partial shift every 3rd weekend.

STARTING HOURLY RATE:

$17.55 with the potential of increasing to $18.80 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY:

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)





All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:


Processing and vaccinating newborn piglets. Caring for ill animals per veterinary and manager guidance and maintaining records. Maintaining a designated feeding routine. Keeping up on barn maintenance and cleanliness, which includes power washing. Must be 18 years of age Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
