Cunningham Children's Home, an agency dedicated to providing a safe place for youth to learn, heal, and grow, is launching a new program to help youth in foster care achieve greater stability in their homes. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced
Full-Time IPS Family Therapist
to join our team and provide intensive therapeutic services to youth and families experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges.
Position Overview
The
IPS Family Therapist
serves as the team lead, working closely with a
Family Support Specialist
to deliver in-home, community-based therapeutic services. This role is key in supporting placement stability for youth at risk of disruption by developing assessments, treatment plans, and interventions that guide the IPS service approach.
Qualifications
Master's degree in a human services field (Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology preferred).
Clinical experience in child welfare, children's mental health, or family therapy strongly preferred.
Strong self-discipline and professional integrity.
Commitment to confidentiality and teamwork within a collaborative treatment model.
Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel throughout
Champaign, Ford, Iroquois, and Vermilion Counties
.
Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Illinois driver's license.
Must pass a pre-employment physical and background check.
Schedule
This is a
full-time position
with
flexible scheduling
required. Some
evening and weekend hours
may be necessary to accommodate the needs of families.
