Job Description
Overview
The FCC Home Inspector provides agency services for home-based Family Child Care providers. They enhance the professionalism of Family Child Care providers and conduct Family Child Care, Child Care Food Program and Family, Friend and Neighbor (FFN) Child Care inspections.
Duties
Recruit, evaluate, train and monitor Registered Family Child Care Providers
Conduct FCC and FFN home inspections as required by DFD regulations
Provide "technical assistance" to Registered FCC & FFN providers, including in-service training, ECC payment requirements in collaboration with ECC trainer & specialists
Maintain records as required for the Family Child Care Registration program and participants
Assist with the agency's sponsorship of the Child Care Food Program through the NJ Department of Agriculture
Notify DCP&P, Institutional Abuse Unit, whenever there is reasonable cause to believe that a child has been subjected to abuse and/or neglect, following CCCC complaint policy reporting procedure
Qualifications
Must have a valid Driver's License and car for field work Associate's Degree and/or equivalent years of experience that meets Office of Licensing qualifications Bi-lingual a must
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
