The Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health (DOGPAH) at the University of Minnesota is seeking a board certified/eligible Pediatrician at the rank of Assistant Professor level on the Academic Track-Clinical Scholarship or Education or Clinician track.

Position Highlights:

This is a 100% full time position with clinical work at M Health Fairview Children\xe2\x80\x99s Clinic - University in Minneapolis.

Provide pediatric primary care and in the Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) Clinic at the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brian (MIDB), focused on DBP care for children with developmental disabilities and other special health care needs.

The faculty member will have opportunities to participate in medical education, mentoring, scholarship, and equity work, including working with medical students and residents at their clinical sites. Will be involved with the Pediatric Residency International Immigrant Physician Pathway and the Pediatric Residency Diversity Equity and Inclusion Council, and contribution to scholarship in these roles and on projects with the Global Pediatrics Program.

Qualifications:

MD, DO, MBChB or comparable medical degree.

Graduate of an accredited ACGME Pediatric residency training program.

Board eligible/certified in Pediatrics

Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.

Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on diversity, equity and inclusion and/or global health initiatives and in diverse practice settings with patient populations with a diverse group of backgrounds.
