Dakota State University is seeking applications for a full-time facility worker. Primary responsibilities include custodial care and minor maintenance.
The position will be scheduled Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour workday and a start time of either 4:00 or 5:00 am. Occasional weekends are required.
Responsibilities:

• Floor care mainly vacuuming and mopping but could include scrubbing, waxing, and shampooing carpets.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Collect and remove trash from building.
• Dust and wash walls, woodwork, and windows (inside and out).
• Remove snow from steps and sidewalks near buildings.
• Moving furniture.
• Set-up and clean-up of campus events.

Successful candidate must be able to:

• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Work with students, staff, and the public courteously.
• Work independently.
• Lift 50 pounds.
• Bend, stretch, climb ladders, twist and walk.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship is not available for this position.)
