Job Description

Clean Harbors located in San Jose, CA is looking to add Facility Technician I to the team. The Facility Technician I is responsible for performing hands-on operations, such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations and offloading van trailers while ensuring all required paperwork is completed for waste tracking.

Swing Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Monday - Friday w/$1.75 shift differential

Rate: $23 hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Perform hands-on operations such as pumping and dumping of 55-Gallon drums, tanks farm operations and loading/offloading van trailers;
• Perform drum storage, drum repacks and drum tracking;
• Operate a forklift when needed;
• Complete paperwork for waste tracking/management;
• Other duties as assigned.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• HS Diploma or equivalent;
• 6+ months related work experience;
• Ability to work in adverse environments (cold/heat);
• Valid DL required;
• Forklift and DOT training preferred;
• Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes nights and weekends.
